Hrithik visits Salman before his surgery:
Hrithik Roshan after the skirmish that he had with Salman Khan, decided to bury the hatchet and paid a visit to the ailing superstar at his Bandra residence.

The actor dropped by to wish Salman all the well and hoped for a healthy vigor post the surgery. A source revealed, “Hrithik Roshan was at a Juhu five star to launch the first promo of his upcoming film Agneepath. Right after the event, he went to Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. He wanted to meet Salman before he left the country. Hrithik wanted to wish Salman luck with his treatment in the US. The two actors spent over two hours in each other’s company.”

For those in the dark, it may be recalled that Salman and Hrithik had a bitter fight over Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2010 film ‘Guzaarish’. Salman had commented on the film, saying, “Koi Kutta bhi nahi gaya dekhne”. Hrithik, the lead actor of the film was deeply hurt by Salman’s remarks and had retorted, “It’s not heroic to laugh or make fun of a filmmaker. In my opinion, a hero never gloats. When you are super successful, it should in fact make you more gracious and loving.”

Upset with Salman’s unsavory comment, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali too had said, “If such an old and trusted friend can be so insensitive, I don’t want anything to do with the entertainment industry.”

But now it seems they have buried their past differences and are on cordial terms with each other.

Salman Khan who would be treated for an acute neurological condition (trigeminal neuralgia) left for US on Monday. The actor on his way to airport tweeted – “Chalo guys am on my way to fix the short circuit in my nerve. (sic)”

Kareena, Preity mend burnt bridges:
Having warred for several years, tinsel town beauties Kareena Kapoor and Preity Zinta have finally ironed out their differences and have buried the hatchet.

The chirpy actress who was invited by Salman Khan at the special screening of his latest release ‘Bodyguard’ at YRF Studios was seen showering praises on Bebo and Salman.

Preity complimented both the actors and their film in one of her Tweets. She posted on her Twitter handle, “Just saw BODYGUARD! Salman U n Kareena Rock! Its FAB & the action is AMAZING ! All da best This one is full Paisa Vasool .”

Her complimenting Kareena like this shows that she has buried their past differences and has moved on. It may be recalled that during a Diwali party hosted by Akshay Kumar in 2008, Preity was seen giving cold shoulder to Kareena. The rivalry intensified when Preity was chosen for Karan Johar’s ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, to play a role that was originally offered to Bebo.

In fact, on K Jo’s talk show, both the actresses were caught bad mouthing and hurling insults at each other. Where, Kareena made it clear that she was not too fond of Preity, she also reciprocated with the same vibes saying Kareena only acknowledged her in Karan’s presence.

But now things have taken a turn around and all is well between both of them.

When contacted, Kareena said, “I am really flattered with Preity’s compliment. She is really sweet and very genuine as a person. She always speaks her mind so I know whatever she wrote was heartfelt.
