Sood Samet Sonu Sood back In Dabangg for bare-chested fistfight with Sallu

Monday, 9 January 2012

Sood Samet... Sonu back In Dabangg for bare-chested fistfight with Sallu By now it is common knowledge that no one says no to Salman Khan. It’s also well-known among his close friends and family that Salman expects complete loyalty from them. And this could mean making professional compromises as well.

Given his emotional approach to his friends, one isn’t surprised to hear that Salman has “requested” (read: ordered) Sonu Sood to march right back into Dabangg 2.

Sonu, it would be recalled, had politely declined the offer to continue his association with the Dabangg brand. On a suggestion made by Salman, Sonu was supposed to play his character Chedi Singh’s twin brother in Dabangg 2. But then the Dabangg 2 script brought in another arch-villain to be played by Prakash Raj.

That’s when Sonu decided to gently get out of the way.

But now Salman wants him back. According to sources Salman feels Sonu Sood is integral to the Dabangg franchise. Apparently when he heard that Sonu had opted out and that Arbaaz had decided to write Sonu’s role out of Dabangg 2, Salman was none too pleased.

However as other components of Dabangg 2 began to fall into place, Salman began to feel Sonu must be part of the sequel.

Says a friend of Sonu Sood, “Salman asked Sonu to return to Dabangg at his birthday bash in Panvel last week. This happened in front of Arbaaz, Sohail and a whole lot of other people.

Sonu was embarrased. He didn’t know what to say because this was not the first time Salman had asked him. Earlier in Hyderabad Salman had broached the subject, saying Dabangg wouldn’t be the same if the two of them – Salman and Sonu—didn’t share a climax fight.

Sonu loves Salman to death. But at this juncture of his career Sonu isn’t sure when he has a solo-hero film Maximum ready for release he wants to do a marginal part. However for Salman, Sonu would agree to return to Dabangg. ”

We probed a little more and discovered that the real reason for Salman’s keenness to get Sonu Sood back into Dabangg is the bare-chested fistfight at the end.

Says a source, “Salman can’t do that with Prakash Raj, for obvious reasons. ”

What does Juhi intend to do Rs. 1 Crore?

What does Juhi intend to do Rs. 1 Crore? In the closely-contested grand finale of Bigg Boss Season 5 on Saturday night television actress and anchor Juhi Parmar emerged the winner beating the other favourites Siddharth Bhardwaj, Akashdeep Saigal (aka Sky), Amarr Upadhayay and Mahak Chahal. Mehak was touted as Bigg Boss anchor Salman Khan’s favourite girl.

However Juhi it was. And she was constantly considered a frontline potential winner for her peaceful and graceful demeanour inside the House.

Minutes after the victory the ecstatic winner said, “Very frankly I didn’t know I was considered a favourite potential winner until I came out of Bigg Boss.

Inside the House I was filled with doubts about my own conduct…Was I conducting myself decently? Was I being true to myself? How was I being perceived outside the Bigg Boss house? When I won all my misgivings evaporated. It was a feeling I can’t describe. ”

Feeling vindicated Juhi says, “Bigg Boss has made me more tolerant patient and gregarious. Not that I wasn’t compassionate before. But now I can look at human failings and weaknesses far more dispassionately.

And I’ve begun to love humanbeings even more. In fact when I came out of Bigg Boss and went into my van my spotboy was the first person I spotted. I just wanted to reach out to him.

After being cooped up in the House with fourteen people for so many weeks I’ve come out starved for human company. ”

Among the lifelong friends she made in the House Juhi mentions Raageshwari, Akaashdeep Saigal, Pooja Bedi, Sunny Leone and Vida Samdzai.

“In fact, all of them. Even Siddharth Bhardwaj whom in a rare fit of anger I told I never want to see again, is finally a friend. But yes Sky, Pooja, Sunny and Vida are special. In fact Sky is now my rakhi brother. So you see I’ve come out richer. ”

Speaking of wealth what does Juhi intend to do with the money? “Honestly, I haven’t thought about it yet. At the moment I can’t believe I’ve won.

I never thought I’d have to think about the prize. The money will sink in later. But the one thing that I would most certainly like to do is ensure my child’s future, whenever he or she is born. ”

Juhi was met by her family when she emerged from the Bigg Boss house. “My mom, dad, husband, brother and sister-in-law were all there. I realized there’s nothing in the world comparable with one’s family. ”

Bigg Boss 5 win beginning of my second innings on TV

Actress Juhi Parmar, who won the fifth season of controversial reality show Bigg Boss, says it
is the beginning of her second innings on television as her weight had kept her away from work.

"It is like a second innings for me. I wanted to start working but only after reducing weight and getting into proper shape. I was away from work for a year or so. My weight was a big hindrance in my career which I gained due to medical reasons.

"But no excuses are accepted in the industry. For me the struggle was to lose weight, my target was that," Juhi told PTI in an interview after winning the show last night.

"Bigg Boss came my way so I took it up. I thought it was the right thing before I begin work," she added.

Before getting into Bigg Boss, Juhi had lost 10 kgs and after going to the show she lost four kgs.

The actress, who shot to fame on the daily soap 'Kumkum', said she had not expected to win Bigg Boss.

"The feeling is yet to sink in. Forget about winning the show, I had never expected to be there till the finale. I felt as I was not the focal point of the show I may not last longer. I never picked up fights or anything of that sort," Juhi said.

"But I was not the silent player. I used to talk, laugh, cry, voice my opinion, stand up for the truth," she said.

Juhi feels fights and controversies do not help any contestant in the long run. "If I had picked up fights then I wouldn't have won the show. I have hardly had any major brawl on the show. It takes
you ahead in the show but it does not help you win. That is not the mantra," she said.

Grabbing the winner's title, Juhi won Rs one crore prize money besides a trophy last night, leaving behind Akashdeep Saigal, Siddharth Bhardwaj and Mahek Chahal.

But the actress has not yet thought of how she would spend the money, except that she would keep it for her kids.

Being in Big Boss house was no cake-walk: Akashdeep Saigal

Akashdeep Saigal

TV actor Akashdeep Saigal, who could not win the reality show Bigg Boss last night, says it was not a cakewalk to be in the house. After Amar Upadhyay and MTV VJ, Siddharth, Akashdeep was the latest male contestant to enter the Bigg Boss season 5. "I had no gameplan when I

entered the show....I have not played games. In fact, it was difficult to make relations in the house as everyone were from different forms of life and had different ways of living. So to gel up with everyone was not easy," Akashdeep said here.

"Everyone fought with each other as the circumstances were different in the house....It was not a cakewalk."

Akashdeep had had fights with Siddharth every second day.

"He is quite young and hot-blooded. I don't want to say anything about Sid. Everyone had different ways of living....Situations in the house were such that everyone could lose cool."

Now at home, Akashdeep is keen to watch how he had appeared to TV viewers during the show.

Did Juhi Parmar deserve to win Bigg Boss 5?

TV actress Juhi Parmar was announced the Bigg Boss 5 winner amidst a glittery ceremony held in Mumbai lately. Initially, many thought that Juhi will find it tough to adjust in the house and will be soon evicted. Mahek Chahal, Siddharth Bhardwaj, Akashdeep Saigal and Amar Upadhyay were the other finalists.

The final verdict didn't come out as a shocking surprise. Till now, none of the wild card entrants have ever won the show. Out of the five finalists, Juhi was the only contestant who was in the house from day one.

Amar who was really confident about winning the show, got the least amount of votes in the final battle. Amar's chances of winning the show almost died the day co-host Salman Khan called him 'spineless'. Later, Shonali, Juhi and Sunny accused him of making girls uncomfortable by physical proximity. His 'Mihir Virani' reputation was trashed by the blame game.

Bigg Boss 5: The glamorous grand finale

The official 'Dolly Bindra' of season 5, Akashdeep Saigal was the next one to be evicted. Though the controversies and arguments helped him survive on the show, but the audience didn't want to see him as the winner. After finishing her dance performance at the grand finale, Malaika Arora said that out of the five finalists, she dislikes Sky. The eliminated lot of contestants too criticized him for his behaviour during the show.

As expected, Sky and Amar jumped with joy when Siddharth was evicted next. The gesture clearly shows their immaturity and lack of sporting spirit. After all it's just a game.

Thanks to her bunch of friends, Juhi Parmar managed to stay away from nominations for very long. While people like Mahek and Pooja Misrra were nominated almost every week, Juhi was just nominated thrice on the show. Though on rare cases but Juhi's dominating personality came out in the Bigg Boss house. Remember, once she provoked Sky so much against Bigg Boss that he was almost ready to pack his bags and leave the show. At innumerable times, Juhi blamed Bigg Boss of being partial.

Juhi tried to play peacemaker in the house in the initial days and stayed away from controversies. It was only towards the end of the show that she emerged as a smart player.

Bigg Boss was no cakewalk for Siddharth. The youngest Bigg Boss 5 contender often fought with others when they called him immature. His bonding with Sky didn't last very long and Sky made all possible efforts to trouble him after the fall out. All his friends right from Shonali, Mahek to Andrew Symonds made an exit from the show one after the other. Though Sid had some really crass fights in the Bigg Boss house, but he tried to change after a few warnings from hosts Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Probably his quality to stand for what he believed in made him popular.

Shonali Nagrani and Laxmi Narayan lost it out to Mahek Chahal in the wild card entry race. Mahek stayed away from the group politics in the house and turned out to be a total entertainer.

Many people believe that Mahek and Sid were more deserving to win Bigg Boss 5. Social networking sites have been flooded with comments criticizing Juhi Parmar. While Amar and Juhi were ridding high on their daily soaps glory, Mahek and Sid were the favorites among youngsters.

Juhi has become the second female contestant to win Bigg Boss. Last year, Shweta Tiwari better known as Prerna of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, won the show. It's a clear win of small screen 'Bahu Brigade' over the young stars.

When compared to Juhi Parmar, Mahek and Sid faced more difficulties in the house. However, at the end it is a number game and Juhi 'Kumkum' Parmar proved her mettle as the 'telly bahu'.

Calling it the beginning of her second small screen innings, Juhi is extremely elated with her success. Let's wait and watch whether this winning streak of 'telly bahus' will continue in next season as well.

Juhi was destined to win Bigg Boss

Astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi explains why Juhi made it while others failed

Juhi Parmar
Juhi Parmar

“The year 2012, which adds up to Number 5 (Mercury) can prove lucky for most Number 5 and Number 8 people. Going by her numbers, Juhi Parmar is the destined winner of Bigg Boss 5,” calculates noted astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi.

“Juhi is born on December 14, 1980, which makes her directly a Number 5 person in numerology, while her compound number adds up to Number 8 (Saturn). Plus, she is currently running in her 32nd year and the sum total arrived by adding the date of the Grand Finale episode (January 7, 2012) is Number 4 (Rahu) and the name ‘Juhi Parmar’ vibrates on Number 31 (3+1=4),” Bhavikk explains.

Just for the record, Bhavikk holds the distinction of also appearing on the said reality show and correctly predicting Ashutosh Kaushik as the winner of Bigg Boss Season 2 earlier.

He is also the only astro-numerologist in the country, who had rightly ‘calculated’ that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would deliver a baby ‘girl’!

Bhavikk further predicts, “The next season of Bigg Boss (Season 6) will be even more drastically dramatic; as the name vibrates on Number 54 (Number 9) which is diametrically opposite to 2012 (Number 5). The show could witness significant changes, compared to the last few seasons and more volatile situations are likely to erupt.”

Shahrukh worried about working with Katrina

Will his problems with Salman create an issue here too?

Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan

We all know Disney’s most melodious song ‘It’s a small world after all’. These days one man is singing it quite often - B’wood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan! After nearly bumping into arch-rival and foe Salman Khan at the Mumbai Airport, soon after returning from their same holiday destination Dubai, rumour has it that SRK could expect more trouble from Sallu.

A source revealed that SRK has reservations about his Yash Raj film that he signed last year with Salman’s ex, Katrina Kaif. Not sure about how things would pan out given the bitter equations between him and Sallu, he called Katrina, voiced his fears and asked her if she would be comfortable working with him. The 27-year-old English beauty apparently in a move to calm down SRK, assured him that Sallu wouldn’t intrude on the sets of the film and that being a professional herself she had no issues working with King Khan.

SRK was finally convinced that the filming of the movie would go smoothly when Katrina explained that she had long broken up with Salman and they were just good friends at the moment. So, there was no question of jealousy or distrust.

SRK’s fears are not unfounded. After all, who can forget the nightmarish episode of 2002 during the filming of ‘Chalte Chalte.’ At that time Aishwarya Rai, the lead actress had just broken up after a stormy affair with Sallu who didn’t take it graciously. He then barged into the sets of the movie by physically and verbally abusing the former Miss World. Eventually, the drama and the interruptions vexed SRK and he replaced Aishwarya with Rani Mukherji thus ending his friendship with Ash.

It is no wonder that SRK didn’t want any ruckus on the sets of the Yashraj film because the movie is set to be directed by B’wood veteran Yash Chopra himself.

Well given all the history between B’wood’s hotshots it would be safe to assume that this movie will draw a lot of attention from the media and generate tons of gossip.

portal on indian news

Juhi is the second female contestant to prove her mettle and win Bigg Boss after Shweta Tiwari won Bigg Boss Season 4. Being one of the most popular bahus on Indian television, her fame and strong fan-following has helped her gain the maximum votes. Survival on television’s most intense reality show has not been easy for Juhi. Her cordial and straight forward nature along with her patience has made her win the hearts of not only the audiences who have voted for her, but also her fellow contestants. Be it dealing with fights and conflicts or making friends, Juhi always remained on the front-foot. She has always stood her ground in fights due to which she never got along with Sidharth Bhardwaj and Amar Upadhyay, but her maturity allowed her to remain cordial with the pair of them. Juhi is definitely walking away after having gained tremendous respect from everyone who has been a part of her life, especially her husband television actor Sachin Shroff, and finding life-long friends in Pooja Bedi, Sky Wlker and Sunny Leone.

Upon being announced the winner of Vodafone presents Bigg Boss 5, an ecstatic Juhi Parmar said, “The feeling that follows after being declared the winner of Bigg Boss is something that I cannot put in words. A woman is the epitome of endurance and being the second woman to win Bigg Boss helps prove that point to all that ever doubted it. Tackling the various situations that I have experienced inside the Bigg Boss house has given me a lot more confidence to go back home and continue being what I am. Thanks to Bigg Boss, I have made some life-long friends whom I probably would have never met if I had not agreed to be a part of the show. There is a lot that I am taking back home with me that I have learnt while being a part of this amazing journey of Bigg Boss 5.”

Juhi’s winning evening was a star studded evening with power packed performances.  While Salman was seen in his ‘Lovely Singh’ avatar fromBodyguard, Sanju Baba did not miss the opportunity to wish the contestants ‘All The Best’. Shonali also showcased her sexy side by delivering a sensual performance. Bringing the grand finale to its pinnacle was a group act by Shakti Kapoor with all the girls who have participated in this season of Bigg Boss, which created a sense of nostalgia given that the show started with Shakti being the sole man inside the house.

This season of Bigg Boss has truly been the season of double vaat. With not one but two hosts leading the contestants while they were inside the house, the lives of all the contestants have been touched in one way or another by the differences between right and wrong that the hosts have taught them along the way. The show started with Shakti Kapoor as the only man locked up inside the house with 13 women from different walks of life. Eventually, the house witnessed additions in the form of Amar, Sidharth, Sky and Sunny who added fuel to the fire of changing equations. The fifth season of Bigg Boss also witnessed an Indian television first when director Mahesh Bhatt entered the house to approach Sunny Leone for Pooja Bhatt’s upcoming film Jism 2. This season also witnessed another Bigg Boss first when family members of the contestants were sent inside the house bearing goodies and bringing news of the loved ones that were being sorely missed. Bigg Boss Season 5 has seen guest entries in the form of Swami Agnivesh and international celebrities like cricketer Andrew Symonds and sumo wrestler Yamamotoyama, The atmosphere inside the house, this season, has been extremely volatile with innumerable fights and contestants having ‘blow-hot-blow-cold’ relationships throughout.

Bigg Boss is and always will be the biggest, the most awaited and the most loved show on Indian television. The experiences and the memories of living in a house with strangers and fighting to prove their mettle will forever be engraved within the hearts and minds of the contestants.
