The three big releases of Dharma Productions in 2012

Dharma Productions' fans have a lot to look forward to in the year 2012 as the production house is all set to release its three big films like AGNEEPATH, EK MAIN AUR EKK TU and STUDENT OF THE YEAR. While the promos of the Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra starrer AGNEEPATH is already creating a buzz, it seems that people are also looking forward to EK MAIN AUR EKK TU. STUDENT OF THE YEAR, which is supposedly a story revolving around the life of high school students and the third release of Dharma Productions, is also talked about even before the launch of the film's first look.

Starting with AGNEEPATH, the film is a remake of the 1990 film of the same title. The movie became a huge hit then and all its characters are still alive in the hearts and minds of people. In this modernized version, Hrithik plays the character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan while Sanjay Dutt portrays the menacing Kaancha Cheena. Priyanka Chopra will be seen in the lead role opposite Hrithik. Rishi Kapoor plays the role of a drug lord Rauf Lala. Karan Malhotra dons the director's cap for the first time. No need to mention, the theatrical trailer, promos and music has already received people's thumbs up. Another ultra selling point of the film has been the very popular item song Chikni Chameli which features the very hotKatrina Kaif. The film is releasing on January 26, 2012.

Dharma Productions' second venture of 2012 is EK MAIN AUR EKK TU. Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who play the lead roles in the film, have been paired for the first time opposite each other onscreen. This light-hearted comedy is receiving fair reviews for its promos and songs. Imran who plays Rahul and Kareena as Riana get married to each other in a drunken state. The story is about their unusual love story that unfolds as the film evolves. Shakun Batra makes his debut as a director in the film. The film is all set to release on February 10, 2012.

The third release of the year of the production house is STUDENT OF THE YEAR. The movie will gift many fresh faces to the industry. Supposedly, the movie is a high school drama and offers an interesting watch. Karan Johar, the owner of Dharma Productions, himself dons the Director's hat for the film.
