For a relationship that has oscillated for a decade and a half between collaboration and breakdown, this year was the climax. When B-Town's 'Big Fight' between Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder took place two nights ago, everyone predicted an end to the SRK-Shirish-Farah-Sajid relationship.
But, enter Sajid Khan, peacemaker and brother of Farah, who mediated between the warring factions and facilitated peace. A ceasefire has now been called between Khan and Kunder.
"It's a matter of my family, how can I not intervene?" asked Sajid. "I spoke to Karan [Johar] and Gauri yesterday morning. She too said, 'let's just meet up and sort this out once and for all'. I took Farah, Shirish and Sajid Nadiadwala to Shah Rukh's residence and spent a few hours there," added Sajid.
"It was a mutual decision. There were no blame games or shouting at each other. All three of them hugged each other and made up," said Sajid.
Meanwhile, elaborating on his family's relationship with the King Khan's, Sajid said, "Gauri and SRK are family. He did Farah's kanyadaan and he was one of the witnesses to the court marriage. Like all families we also go through ups and downs."
Talking about the friendship between Farah and SRK, he said, "I refuse to believe that Farah and SRK have any animosity for each other. And when people love each other so dearly, they also have the right to hate each other," said Sajid.

Shirish Kunder on Twitter: Shah Rukh and I just met, had a heart to heart chat and have resolved all misunderstandings. All animosity is now sorted for good. Some incidents in our life when resolved makes relationships stronger than they were ever before.
