Delhi Safari shortlisted for Best Animated Film at Oscars

Nikhil Advani's animation flick Delhi Safari, which released
recently to rave reviews, has now added yet another feather in its cap.
The English version of the film has been shortlisted for consideration
in the Best Animated Feature Film category for the 85th
Annual Academy
Awards.
As of now, 21 animated films have been shortlisted for consideration out of which the final nominations will be decided. Some of the popular English films that Delhi Safari would be competing against to make the final cut include Brave, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, Hotel Transylvania, Ice Age: Continental Drift and Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted.
Delhi Safari got a lot of appreciation when it released in Hindi recently. While the Hindi version featured voices of Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Boman Irani and Urmila Matondkar, the English version of the film features the voices of Jason Alexander, Cary Elwes, Christopher Lloyd, Jane Lynch, Vanessa Williams and Brad Garrett
