Bigg Boss 5: Salman, Malaika, Rakhi, Sunny to groove in finale tonight

D-day has arrived as Bigg Boss 5 gets ready for its’ grand finale tonight. Out of the five contestants, one will win the Bigg Boss 5 title. Bigg Boss 5 will end tonight with world class performances by Salman Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Sunny Leone, Rakhi Sawant, Pooja Mishra and many more.

It is the Bigg Boss 5 finale tonight. After being locked inside the Bigg Boss house for 98 days, one of the contestants will be announced the Bigg Boss 5winner. Will it be Juhi Parmar, Mahek Chahal, Sidharth Bhardwaj, Amar Upadhyay or Akashdeep Saigal Aka Sky?

Meanwhile, the audience will get to see sizzling performances during the finale. While, Bigg Boss 5host Salman Khan will groove to the scintillating beats in Lovely Singh, co-host Sanjay Dutt is expected to perform in his own style. Malaika Arora will sizzle on stage with Munni Badnaam, Hoth Raseele and Chaiyya Chaiyya. The controversy queen Rakhi Swant will not be left behind wither. Rakhi will steam up the show with ‘Chikni Chameli’. Porn star Sunny Leone will perform to Punjabi songs such as ‘Saadi Galli’ and ‘Jugni’.

Pooja Mishra too will be performing on a song. There were earlier reports that Pooja Mishra has been asked to keep away from the finale.

Bigg Boss 5: Winners of previous seasons and who will win today?

The grand finale of Bigg Boss 5 is to be decided today, with five inmates still in the Bigg Boss house; viewers will have a hard time determining who the potential winner will be for the reality show’s fifth season. The five contestants are moving forward for the big prize amount, which is Rs 10 million.

Among the final contestants on ‘Bigg Boss 5’ are Juhi Parmar, Amar Upadhyay, Mahek Chahal, Siddharth Bharadwaj and Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss’ Rs 15 lakh offer is still open for the contestants. One of them can take the amount and leave the show. At the moment, nobody seems to be considering the option. The Bigg Boss finale will take place on January 7, 2012.



According to media reports, the comedy actor Shakti Kapoor will dance on the song ‘Yamma yamma’ with this season`s former female participants like Mandeep Bevli and Raageshwari Loomba.

Imran Khan and Karan Johar will attend the finale to promote ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’.

Actor-director Kamaal R. Khan, who featured in the third season of Bigg Boss is confident that Siddharth will win the show.

“Siddharth is going to win this show. I am very sure about this. He has won reality shows even earlier and has been anchor on MTV. He has a strong fan following when it comes to young crowd. And moreover, I feel he is a deserving candidate,” he said.

Predictions say Juhi Parmar has bright chances of winning ‘Bigg Boss 5?. Juhi is the only contestant who has survived in the house since day one. According to the past records, the contestant who has survived in the house since day one is the one who usually emerges the winner.

Bigg Boss 5: The final face-off

98 days in a house with no contact with the outside world - kick started with 17 contestants and 3 guests, Bigg Boss Season 5 is now all set to end with a bang.

With only 5 contestants remaining who are trying to survive the Bigg Boss ordeal for the whopping one crore rupees - the show has garnered all the media attention and the TRP's over the last few weeks.

Amar, Juhi, Sky, Sid and Mahek are the five who have managed to stick it out till the finale. And as the curtains come down today on one of the biggest reality shows on Indian national television - bets are running high on who might bag it all.

While Amar and Juhi are hoping to score on the fan following they have from their 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and 'Kumkum' days - younger blood Sid and Mahek are hoping to bag the popularity votes. Sky on the other hand is hoping that his loud fights and drama inside the house can get him the entertainment votes. Well...they can all be 'hopeful'.

In a slight flashback of sorts - Sky was one of the contestants who diligently chose his 'group' and fought even more diligently with all other house mates. Known otherwise as Akashdeep Saigal - the former model stormed off during the 'Aapka Farmaan' sessions, refused to do tasks, fought endlessly. Told off often by Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt both - Sky seemed stubborn and almost irritating during his time in the house. The audience reaction shown to the finalists had some people calling him the 'Dolly Bindra' of this season.

Sid shifted allegiance once and got isolated for a good few weeks, making friends and losing them to evictions - he found his ground when Mahek returned as the wild card entry. Sid has through out his time in the house - been the youngest contestant and has tried to maintain a peaceful demeanor after being told off by Salman Khan. He was the reason for Pooja Missra's eviction from the house - though the two seemed to have made up their differences when Pooja Missra returned for a short stint with Andrew Symonds. MTV VJ Siddarth Bharadwaj has already won 'Splitsvilla Season 2' - will the reality show experience help him this time?

Juhi sided with Pooja Bedi, Sky and later Sunny Leone, from day one and her allegiance has remained unshaken - almost absurdly so. She evaded fights as much as possible but towards the end - there was no stopping this judgmental true blood 'bharatiya nari'. A sister and a wife - as she kept holding these two badges up as her defense through out the show - it had most of the audience wondering why she needed to stand behind Sky.

Amar Upadhyay made it clear that he was playing the game and he would play it not matter what the costs. Accused of being too 'touchy feely' by Shonali Nagrani and later Sunny Leone - Amar stuck to his course of making things work for him. He's one contestant who possibly made no friends in the house - choosing sides as it suited him. He was told by Salman Khan that he lacks a spine - to which came a reply - one does not need a spine to win such a show. Could he be proved wrong?

Finally Mahek Chahal has been one of the most controversial of the contestants for most believed that she was and is a Salman Khan favourite. That did not deter Mahek it seems. Voted off from the show - she returned as a wild card entry. Mahek had the worst fights with Sky in the Bigg Boss house but she held her ground staunchly. Initially at loggerheads with Sid - the two have struck a great friendship by the end of it all. Mahek's return to the house was a complete game-changer for the four who were there. While evicted contestants have called her 'stupid' and 'favoured', Mahek clearly is vying for the 'Bigg' score.

With only a few hours to go - the excitement is running high. 98 days in side the house with all possible twists, turns, tears, some happiness and the temptation of Rs 15 lakhs lying in front of the final 5 - the face-off has begun. None of the contestants took the option of bagging the lesser amount and leaving the show - the seasoned players decided to fight it out till the last breath.

Bigg Boss 5: Pooja Bedi to sue Colors?

Pooja Bedi has decided to file a case against Bigg Boss 5 for not allowing her to be a part of the Bigg Boss 5 grand finale.

Though Pooja Bedi was to perform on a medley of songs on the finale of Bigg Boss 5, she was asked to keep away from the show at the last minute without being given any accurate reason.

After being evicted from the Bigg Boss 5 house, Pooja Bedi has been actively supporting her friend Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky who is still in the house. She has even slammed host Salman Khan, alleging that he has been partial towards Bigg Boss 5contestant Mahek Chahal. Then there were rumours that Salman Khan was responsible for keeping Pooja away from the show.

Pooja Bedi, who was extremely upset said, “I am taken aback. It's in my contract that I am to attend finale. Three days ago abruptly the production house informed me that I was to not attend the finale. They told me that it was the channel's decision, however, the channel blamed the production house.”

Pooja Bedi feels that what happened to her is extremely unfair and plans to move court against the channel.

Sanjay Dutt back in 'action' in ZILLA GHAZIABAD

Vinod Bachchan's action thriller ZILLA GHAZIABAD, top lining Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi and Arshad Warsi, has now entered its final shoot schedule with a gripping climactic sequence being filmed this week. The film's action sequence is directed by fight master Kannan has the producer delighted.

The three big releases of Dharma Productions in 2012

Dharma Productions' fans have a lot to look forward to in the year 2012 as the production house is all set to release its three big films like AGNEEPATH, EK MAIN AUR EKK TU and STUDENT OF THE YEAR. While the promos of the Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra starrer AGNEEPATH is already creating a buzz, it seems that people are also looking forward to EK MAIN AUR EKK TU. The story is about their unusual love story that unfolds as the film evolves. Shakun Batra makes his debut as a director in the film. The film is all set to release on February 10, 2012.
