Arshad's encounter with monkeyActor Arshad Warsi, who is in capital to shoot for his movie 'Hai Rabba', is finding it difficult to deal with monkeys, but says that this can't be the reason to stop the filming.

Abhishek in no mood to sing?

Composers Vishal-Shekhar admit that plans for actor’s hip-hop album have been shelved

Earlier this year it was reported that Junior Bachchan was recording an album with music composers Vishal and Shekhar. But now it appears that the hip-hop album titled ‘Side B’ has been shelved forever.

The album had been planned three years ago after the massive success of the song ‘Right here right now,’ for the movie ‘Bluffmaster.’ Abhishek’s rap and swag immediately found favour with the youth. Riding high on the wave, the composers decided to work on a hip-hop album with the actor who seemed equally kicked by the idea.

Later, when the recording actually started in Los Angeles Abhi began to have second thoughts. For one, he felt his vocals weren’t good enough and that the songs were missing the ‘X factor!’ Thus, Abhi’s shaky confidence eventually led to the plans for the album being scrapped altogether.
Vishal- Shekhar, confirmed this news to a tablod. “We are definitely not putting out the album. We feel that we have moved on from hip hop plus we took very long to come out with it.”

Did they regret all the hard work and time invested in it? “Not at all,” they chorus. “We had great fun working with Jr Bachchan and that is enough for us.”

Well, Abhi shouldn't lose heart. All he needs to do is take a leaf out of friend and co-star Priyanka Chopra's book on how to record an international album even if no one has heard her sing!

John shows he is well prepared to get married now

John shows he is well prepared to get married nowHe's recently been quoted saying that he wants to get married now, and looks like John Abraham is well prepared for it. Quite a handyman at home, the actor knows exactly what's kept where and keeps full track of his ration too.

Recently seen in Desi Boys, this eyecandy of Bollywood talks to CS about being a regular boy:

The homemaker
I'm pretty good at managing my home. I know exactly where my utensils are and where my ration is.

I know when something needs to be replaced and I don't waste too much time in doing that. I know what my bills are and when they're due.

I don't think it's a big deal in operating home appliances like the washing machine etc myself. But yes, I've still not been able to figure out how to use a microwave.

Free spirit
I'm an independent guy who loves his space and believes in simple living. There isn't anything too fancy in my home. I like my free-time, but unfortunately I don't get too much of it. But yes, a lot of my free hours go in keeping fit and healthy. Fitness is the only religion I know.

Fit hai
I keep pushing myself to newer levels of fitness. With Force, I managed to achieve 70 per cent of the optimum fitness levels. In 2013, I should reach 100 per cent. And that's when I want to do a hardcore action film, something that's never been seen in India. That's my target as of now, and I'm quite obsessive about being my fittest in the future.

Birthday boy John doesn't believe in making noise

It is John Abraham's birthday today and the man is indeed happy with the way the year gone by treated time. He started off with an appearance in 7 KHOON MAAF, moved to on FORCE and then ended the year with DESI BOYZ. Even though FORCE and DESI BOYZ turned out to be earning preposition while his performance of a rockstar in 7 KHOON MAAF was critically acclaimed, it comes across as a surprise that John hasn't made much noise about that.

Why is that the case because he has already suffered his share of flak when his JHOOTHA HI SAHI and AASHAYEIN didn't work last year? Doesn't he feel that it is about time he makes his successes count?

"See, you know that I am not a guy who will tell industry and trade that 'Look, I showed you guys what I am capable of'. On the contrary I am just the opposite and choose to move on with my films instead of making any wild announcements and declarations," says John.

"If my films have tasted commercial success as well as critical acclaim then all credit to my directors here. I firmly believe that they are the captain of the ship. If a film works then it's because the director made it work. On the other hand if a film fails, everyone associated with it is collectively responsible."

Well, looking at the kind of statements that John is making in defense of the director community, don't be surprised if a few years down the line he ends up wearing the director's hat himself. What say John?

With the release date of DON 2 inching closer, the makers as well as the lead actors have really started to pump up the promotions in a big manner.

With talks of SRK not really participating the whole hog in the promotions of DON 2 (like he did for his home production RA.ONE), doing the rounds, it seems that Shah Rukh Khan as well as the producers have certainly realized that the D-Day is close. And in an effort to promote the movie the lead actors as well as the producersFarhan Akhtar (also the director) and Ritesh Sidhwani are on a whirlwind tour of India.

Just yesterday (Friday), the unit of DON 2 was in the Pink City Jaipur, where Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra, along with the director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani interacted with the media as well as the fans. When asked by the fourth estate as to why he was essaying a negative role after such a long time, SRK replied, "With negativity comes positivity, and only when we portray a negative character we can show a positive one."

Shah Rukh spoke at length about his role, the real life stunts that he had performed while shooting for DON 2 and also the movie in general, but was also quick to advice that the people should not copy what they see in DON 2. He said, "Kids please do not emulate DON in real life."

The lead actors, Shah Rukh and Priyanka also obliged the audience present there by delivering some popular dialogues of DON 2 which were really appreciated by all and there were loud cheers and claps.

Well, all we can say and hope is that the movie too is welcomed with loud cheers and claps by the audience when it releases worldwide next week!

What advice Aamir gave to Abhishek Bachchan on fatherhood?

They were seen cozied up to each other, involved in a warm and friendly discussion at a prayer meeting held at a Mumbai film studio in the memory of the late Dev Anand, lovingly and respectfully called by the industry folks as Dev Saab.

While the first time father Abhishek was quietly listening to the senior thespian's animated discourse with a very friendly smile on his face, everyone was left wondering about the topic of conversation. Were they discussing the nitty-gritty of fatherhood? Both looked relaxed and happy, with the bright glow of fatherhood adorning their visage.

Their spouses were absent, probably busy with their motherly chores. Who knows, they may even be talking about how neglected they feel now by their wives. Both of them also left the venue together. Aamir being the more experienced among the duo was in complete command. He is also the one full of ideas and a fast mover, having named his baby boy Azad Rao Khan while Abhishek and the rest of Bachchans are still scouting for a suitable name for their 'bitiya'.
