Abhishek Bachchan takes the baton from Saif Ali Khan:
Everybody knows that Abhishek Bachchan has a good sense of humour and an impeccable comic timing. He tickled the funny bones in ‘Dostana’ and ‘Bunty Aur Bubbly’. Even director Raj Kumar Gupta is willing to vouch for that.
Suitably impressed with Jr. B’s witty nature, Raj Kumar who is making a dark comedy named ‘Ghanchakkar’ after his last big screen outing “No One Killed Jessica” has roped in Abhishek for the lead role. The actor will be replacing Saif Ali Khan in the film.
A source said, “Since this is a dark comedy, they need someone who doesn’t need to pretend to be humourous when he isn’t. Abhishek is famous for his dry humour.”
