Casting process for ‘Heroine’ is still on: "
Until last week, the media vine was abuzz with the news that Kareena Kapoor had finally accepted Madhur Bhandarkar’s film ‘Heroine’. Madhur and UTV members made the necessary changes in the script and approached Bebo again. They were even willing to pay a whooping 10 crores to the actress for her role.
But contrary to the buzz that surrounds, the UTV officials have rebuffed the reports. They released a statement which said that the casting process for the lead actors is still going on and Kareena has not been hired.
The official statement read, “We would like to clarify that no casting has been finalised for ‘Heroine’ at all. We further wish to state that no financial terms have been agreed upon and definitely not even remotely close to the figures quoted in the article today.”
