Kareena, Preity mend burnt bridges:
Having warred for several years, tinsel town beauties Kareena Kapoor and Preity Zinta have finally ironed out their differences and have buried the hatchet.
The chirpy actress who was invited by Salman Khan at the special screening of his latest release ‘Bodyguard’ at YRF Studios was seen showering praises on Bebo and Salman.
Preity complimented both the actors and their film in one of her Tweets. She posted on her Twitter handle, “Just saw BODYGUARD! Salman U n Kareena Rock! Its FAB & the action is AMAZING ! All da best This one is full Paisa Vasool

Her complimenting Kareena like this shows that she has buried their past differences and has moved on. It may be recalled that during a Diwali party hosted by Akshay Kumar in 2008, Preity was seen giving cold shoulder to Kareena. The rivalry intensified when Preity was chosen for Karan Johar’s ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, to play a role that was originally offered to Bebo.
In fact, on K Jo’s talk show, both the actresses were caught bad mouthing and hurling insults at each other. Where, Kareena made it clear that she was not too fond of Preity, she also reciprocated with the same vibes saying Kareena only acknowledged her in Karan’s presence.
But now things have taken a turn around and all is well between both of them.
When contacted, Kareena said, “I am really flattered with Preity’s compliment. She is really sweet and very genuine as a person. She always speaks her mind so I know whatever she wrote was heartfelt.
