Akshay: JOKER has the capability of being enjoyed & wowed

Akshay Kumar is finding himself in the middle of multiple projects all over again. While HOUSEFULL 2 promotion would begin anytime now, he is also busy wrapping up ROWDY RATHORE. Meanwhile he has almost finished his portions for JOKER, his second outing with Shirish Kunder after JAAN-E-MANN. Shirish has been patiently waiting for his second release JOKER which is experimental, yet commercial. One is tempted to ask Akshay about the growth that he sees in Shirish, both personally as well as professionally.

"In many ways he has grown and so have I since JAAN-E-MANN. I have grown as an actor as well as a producer while Shirish has become more confident and capable about what he wants. He has studied a lot in many aspects of cinema, something that was really required especially for a film like JOKER," says Akshay.


So what was that something special about the film that promoted Akshay to step into the film? After all this 3D fantasy affair is said to be as unique as it gets.Akshay chuckles, "I am afraid if I tell that to you now, I would be ruining it for many others. All I will say is that JOKER has the capability of being enjoyed & wowed by India's masses. That's exactly what we intend to do and the rest is up to my audiences now."

Audiences are waiting to see more for sure once JOKER releases on August 31.
