Her statue will be unveiled at the wax museum in London in March
It is now Madhuri Dixit's turn to get 'waxed'. The actress will be part of Madame Tussauds in March. The Bollywood star will be seen draped in a sari with her equally well-known beautiful smile.
For the past several months, her fans had petitioned to include her wax work in London's famed tourist attraction that is famous for recreating celebrites from different fields in wax.
A team of Madame Tussauds sculptors, led by Jethro Crabb, was in Mumbai recently for Madhuri's specifications and measurements to recreate her replica.
The Dhak Dhak star had preferred to maintain a silence about it till the announcement was made by the museum.
The wax house statement states, "The decision to include Madhuri is set to delight Bollywood fans around the world as we are constantly inundated with requests to feature her."
This prompted the actress to admit about her 'double' yesterday. She states, "Madame Tussauds made the announcement and I am confirming it. (I) Will be in London in March to introduce my likeness."
For the actress this is the best New Year gift and has come at a time when she is in the process of making a foothold in Bollywood all over again.
Last year she decided to relocate to Mumbai from US with hubby Dr Shriram Nene and kids Arin and Ryan to pursue her professional aspirations once more.
