Ace designer Ritu Kumar will dress Genelia for her big day!

This weekend Bollywood will host a big fat wedding – that of Genelia D’souza with long-time boyfriend Riteish Deshmukh. And the person dressing up the blushing bride is none other than Bollywood’s favourite wedding designer, Ritu Kumar. We have some juicy details about how Genelia will be dressed for her big day!
The outfits in Genelia's trousseau consist of a nude and black net anarkali with multi-panelled layers. The bodice is accented with a see-through layer of lace-like filigree. The ensemble is highlighted with a black and nude coloured odhani and is accompanied with a nude coloured churidar. It's a perfect ensemble for themehendi or sangeet ceremony!
The second outfit is a lehenga-choli and odhani in gold and indigo blue. The blouse is made of indigo blue velvet with antique dhapka embroidery. The lehenga is made of antique gold woven with zardozi embroidery with a velvet indigo blue border highlighted with gold embroidery. The odhani is a subtle mix of gold and indigo blue, highlighting Genelia’s petite frame.
"For Genelia's trousseau, I have chosen colours that will enhance her vivacious personality. She can carry off the traditional Indian look beautifully. The anarkaliand lehenga complements her figure perfectly. It was a pleasure designing for her," said Ritu Kumar.
